Happy New Year!
In other news, the dresses for the bridesmaids are arriving, and they are a testament to Laura's great fashion taste. She picked a very hip color called Firecracker, which fits the celebration vibe quite well. In addition, that color seems to be highlighting all my wedding magazines this season, and the dresses are designs by Cynthia Rowley. Very cool on all levels. She's thrown down the style gauntlet, and I can't wait to see everyone's personal spin on it. ;) Ladies in the bridal party -- please touch base with Laura if you haven't already bought your dress.
Dave and I have also added a nifty little Honeymoon Registry, which fits our trip a little more than the traditional registry. Seems like a fun idea to receive massages or manicures instead of crystal stemware ... which would never find a home in our little casita anyway.
Finally, if you're looking for me in the next few months, check the gym. It's time to get in the fitness groove, and get ready for some dress fittings... soon enough it will be time to go bikini shopping.
Cheers, and Happy New Year everyone -- Angie
PS, the word of the month is Passport. -- Passport passport passport -- Do you know where yours is? Check those expiration dates, get that paperwork sent in, do whatever you gotta do, worst case scenario is up to 90 days for a new passport... consider yourselves warned

Time to put down your deposit
Also, if you don't have a passport, now is the time to get one! Passports seem to take forever to get when you need one, so don't delay if yours is expiring or non-existant...
Thanks again for wanting to join us on this big adventure.

Summertime and the livin's easy...
Time for a long-overdue update after a fun & busy summer -- Dave & I had an awesome visit to Wisconsin catching up with family and friends, and once I got back to Santa Babs, I've landed a new job with the Lobero Theatre downtown. I'm very excited to be making this move. Plus, Dave's doing great with his current job at Franklin Elementary school... even though he's bummed his summer vaca is over in a week. :P
We're also deep in negotiations with our travel agent and Dreams in regards to setting up our group room block and contract. Hopefully I'll be able to share some great news & final room rates by the end of the week. Everyone wants an ocean view right?
In the meantime, feel free to check out the newest card I've added to the wedding collection. Photos were done by our very talented friend, Ms. Kimberly Citro at El Paseo. (santabarbaraphotography.net)

Save the Date
Hey everyone, by now you should have gotten your Save the Date in the mail. Hope you all liked them-- there's more where that came from.
So excited to finally get started. :) Did you guys like the design? I know everyone's on Facebook... should I set up an event there for you to follow? Would that be easier?

Room Rates
Hey everyone --
Exciting news, We've gotten quotes on room rates for the big event. Visit the page at the top, Room Info & Booking to see what's in store.
Also, remember, that we don't have airfare information yet. I'll be sure to send out an email to everyone as soon as we have details about that.
In the meantime, check it out and let me know what you think in the comments. They should be working now...
